El anuncio por parte del alcalde, Abel Caballero, de la posible apertura de otras cuatro grandes superficies comerciales en la ciudad ha disparado todas las alertas en un sector que cerró el ejercicio pasado con el cierre de 480 establecimientos en la ciudad. Para la Federación de Comercio de Vigo (Fecovi), la situación ‘es lo suficientemente crítica como para que se esté pensando en la ubicación de nuevas superficies y, si las informaciones que han aparecido en los medios se concretizan, creemos que el Ayuntamiento debería apoyar de forma implícita y explícita a los pequeños y medianos comerciantes.
